The other Reinvented item in the bathroom is the curtain pull. I found in one of my many craft drawers wooden spools of thread from my husband's paternal grandmother back in 1998!! I have been hanging on to these bad boys for a long time. **His grandmother was an awesome seamstress and I loved to sew with her. His family told me to take any of her sewing stuff that I would like after she passed...this is all I grabbed.**
After taking all the thread off...painting them either green and brown and then stringing up with some beads, from a bracelet that broke when my daughter was an infant (yes, I am a pack rat). I used floral wire put all the pieces together. I have this...
Cost: $0
Well, worth the storage if you ask me!!! Now there is a little bit of whimsy in my bathroom and every time I look at this pull I will think of my hubby's grandma. (Don't look at the soap scum on my shower stall it is 20+ years old, that junk isn't coming off....)
Today I am participating in Kimm's Reinvented Party. Go check out some other great reinvented projects!!

I am a pack rat too! I bet that tie back makes you smile everytime you look at it.
That is a totally cool idea!
Love it! I have a bunch of old spools from my grandma and I just got a bunch more at a garage sale. This is a fantastic idea. (Oh, and I think the "reinvented" term for your shower doors is "frosted glass".) Have a great day!
